Since starting pole lessons with Pole Ambition I have become more confident and willing to give anything a try. I came to class on my own and everyone was very friendly and gave me a lot of encouragement. All the moves are explained extremely well and the instructors are happy to show you the moves over and over again if needed. I would definately recommend Pole Ambition to anyone considering trying a pole class.

Pole ambition is a great pole dancing school with amazing instructors, the classes are always fun and you always feel like you've had a great workout, pole dancing gives you a full body work out, and can be a great boost of confidence for any girl

I have always been erratic with my exercise routine, the amount of times I have joined a gym only to attend for 6 months and then be totally bored by it. 18 months ago I knew I needed to do something, I was so unfit and so I joined a pole dancing class and I love it. I always thought it was a form of dance for skinny, young people but was glad to see people of all sizes and ages. I've never stuck at anything this long and I always look forward to my class each week. Not only it is great as a form of exercise but also a fantastic way to meet new people.
Pole Ambition is a great place to learn, our teachers are excellent, they encourage and empower you making the whole experience extremely enjoyable.

I have been wanting to start a sport for a while but was getting bored of the gym so a friend recommended I try Pole Dancing, I found Nicola through a friend and I have never looked back! I have been going 6 months and love every minute, its fun, works all my core muscles I couldn't work at the gym and has given me a lot more confidence. Nicola is a brilliant instructor, incredibly patient and pushes me each week to try new things, she works with you and ensures you get the best from each lesson, so glad I found her & Pole!!

I am 20 years old, soon to be 21, and have been going to Pole Ambition for approximately 4 months. I absolutely love the lessons and feel I have progressed in all aspects of fitness from week to week! My confidence has also grown with each week.
I first found out about Pole Ambition from a friend who attended their lessons and would fully recommend the classes to anyone, infact I do recommend them to everyone! I have a male friend who also attends the classes so it is not just for women. The prices are very reasonable and all the other members are very friendly! The more advanced students give advice and it is a real boost to see them do moves that you can't! Give it a try and i'm sure you will love it as much as I do :D

I originally started with Nicola at Pole Ambition to learn a new fun sport which would help me tone up but wouldn't be boring as the gym wasn't my thing. With such a wide range of different classes to choose from I was spoilt for choice. I have learnt so many great moves in my pole classes and can't wait to get involved in the Ariel Silk classes in the new year. It is the most fun I've had exercising in a while and saw the benefits in my overall body strength almost immediately.

I have recently started Pole Dancing as a way to keep fit and have fun, i was quite nervous at first but i really neednt have been as the other girls and the instructor made me feel very much at ease. Not only do you get fit and increase your confidence it is a great way to make new friends and classes really are good fun.
There are only a handful of people per class and all of the girls that i have met have been very welcoming and friendly. I wasnt at all fit when i started and was anxious that i wouldnt be very good, however you learn at a pace that most suits you and in a fun way. Whether you want to get fit, meet new people or just get out of the house, i would recommend that you have a go at pole dancing'

Q. Is Pole Dancing Difficult?
A. Everybody takes to pole dancing differently. Some find it easier than others but you just have to try it and see. If you struggle it may take just one or two lessons to get the hang of. Most people need to do a couple of classes before they feel at ease doing some of the moves. Like anything the more you do it, the easier it gets.

Q. Does it hurt?
A. As this is a new form of exercise to your body you will find that you will ache a little for a few days after your lesson. This is because you are working muscles that you probably didn't even know you had! This in known as DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) which is when your muscles are repairing from the new exercise and are developing more strength and tone. As you build up your strength you will feel this less after your lessons. When learning new moves it is easy to bruise your arms and legs. This will lessen as you get used to performing the moves.

Please ask an instructor if you are unsure of which class to book.
